Download MP3
On this episode, we return to the International School of Helsinki and reconnect with a student-led leadership group with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, STAND. This stands for Students Together AgaiNst Discrimination. This student-led group is doing amazing work to transform the culture of their school and create a community where everyone feels a sense of belonging. ISH is on a journey to becoming a place where differences are cherished, diversity is celebrated, and somewhere that all students and faculty feel they are a valued part of the community. Join me as I speak with Soomin, Sophie, Bao and Andrei to learn about their upcoming projects, aspirations for the future, and the impact that STAND continues to have in their community.
