Happy 2023 to all of our listeners. The UN SDG’s, a set of goals and targets to help our global society reach a more sustainable future, were published in 2015. The objective is to meet these targets by 2030. As we begin 2023, we start the second half of this journey with a lot of work still ahead. This group of middle school changemakers at Evergreen Middle School is leading the way by focusing on SDG‘s that they care about and designing projects to take action in their community. How might we integrate what we truly care about, things like the SDG‘s, into existing units to allow students to you develop as in inquirers, designers, changemakers and leaders in our classrooms? Join me as the students share their ideas on this important topic. Special thanks to celebrity guest host Julia Fliss from Evergreen Middle School for co-hosting this episode.
