The Future of Education
Download MP3On this episode we do something we don’t usually do. We invite educators to join the conversation. Back in November 2021, Inspire Citizens lead a workshop sponsored by Tri-Association around the theme of The Future of Education for educators in the region. Following this professional learning experience, I was having a conversation with Julio and Nicola at AIS in Costa Rica. We thought, what if we engaged students in this conversation? What insights might they have about the future of education if given the opportunity to explore some of the same resources that we shared with teachers. This led to a roundtable discussion at AIS featuring Felipe, a senior, Camila, a junior, Cross, a 7th grader, Nicola, the curriculum coordinator and Julio, a high school social studies teacher. Join us as we take a trip to 2030, unpack the future of education and get that all important student perspective on what we might be able to do in schools starting now to play an active role in shaping a more sustainable future.
